Oh yeah, I now read in some threads that a dl-103r cart is not a good match for this. Anything else obviously wrong with the set up as seen in the pics?!ĩ.

I can see down in to the 1200 in front of and behind the tonearm. The tonearm lift arm is touch the base of the 1200, it is workable I think but odd that it is so low and touching.ħ. It seems normal that the opening with clasp would face the spindle not face away from it but in this pic you can see it faces away :Īlso, this looks suspiciously like the screening can in this pic?Ħ. The arm rest seems to be facing the opposite way than I see in the pics on ebay. Where do ground cables go? Will it need one or two separate wires?ĥ. He said if I figured it out and it needed some he could run some. He didn't know how to, or where to run ground cables.

Note, I'm not sure if most install would have the rca cables come out of the bottom like this, I had thought they would be connected inside and come out the regular holes in the back where the stock cables came out - but - it's kind of nice they come out the bottom - unless there is some other problem with this other than cables won't currently fit.Ĥ.

Is the arm somehow not mounted high enough or is this RCA mod just a bad idea for the 1200 table? I can do something like elevate the table or try and get 90 degree rca cables but this defeats the original idea of 'convenient cable swapping'. This seems odd as the 1200 is not a 'short' table it sits pretty high on it's 4 feet and has a fairly thick base. Unfortunately, the plugs come out of the bottom of the table so far as to be an inch from touching whatever the table is on - there is no room to plug normal RCA cables in. This arm had RCA plugs installed to replace the wires that were there before so you could switch out cables easily. Maybe the whole lower half of the arm sits down in it? If so, he didn't put it in.ģ. Since it's called a can, I figure it holds something inside it. It came with a screening can, I do not know what this is. I stick it in but it will not stay parallel to the other weight like it should - maybe there is a screw that goes in to tighten it?
